When is the festival?

The weekend of August 11th, 12th, and 13th.

What is the location of the festival?

Somerset Amphitheatre, 715 Spring Street, Somerset, WI 54025

What are the hours of the festival?

Music starts starts Friday at 2:30pm and runs until midnight on Friday and Saturday and until 10:15 on Sunday. Afterparties are held on-site. The afterparties will begin at midnight, and go until 2:30 am on Friday and Saturday. A VIP wristband INCLUDES access to the afterparty.

What kind of security can we expect?

Everyone entering the festival grounds will be searched upon entry. You will need to empty your pockets and have all items examined. Law enforcement officers will be working inside and outside of the event. All laws will be enforced. We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone. Once inside, there will be event staff and police to help ensure your safety and security.

Will there be re-entry?

Yes! Your festival wristband that you receive upon entering will allow you to come and go.

What are all the wristband policies?

All sales are final. No refunds and no exchanges. Do not buy tickets from third-party ticketing sites. If you purchase a counterfeit ticket, you will be denied entry without refund. Wristbands must be worn for entry into the festival and at all times inside the festival. Wristbands must be worn securely on your wrist so that it cannot be slipped on and off. Wristbands are non-transferable, non-exchangeable and non-replaceable. Do not remove, stretch or tamper with your wristband in any way or you will not be allowed entry. All pass-holders must pass through security and are subject to bag inspection. Prohibited items will be confiscated. The festival takes place rain or shine. There are absolutely no exceptions to this wristband policy.

Will alcoholic beverages be served?

Alcoholic beverages will be served to those with a government-issued photo ID that says you are 21 years of age or older.

Can I bring my vehicle in and out of the campgrounds?

No. Vehicles are allowed in at South Camping and RV Preferred only. There are NO ins/outs allowed with vehicles in this campground, so once the vehicle leaves it will need to be parked outside of the campground.

North Hills vehicles will be parking in a lot close to the actual campground. Vehicles are NOT allowed in this campground at all. You will not be able to return to your vehicle until the festival is over. No in and outs.

How many vehicles are allowed in the "preferred/RV" camping?

While this campsite is optimized for RV's you may fit 2 vehicles per site. This includes the following combinations (1 RV + 1 Car OR 2 Cars). Additional vehicle parking will need to be arranged in overnight/weekend parking. Vehicles will be required to display a parking pass.

Can I buy tickets at the event?

There will be tickets available at the box office on the festival grounds.

Can I buy a ticket for just one day?

Is Summer Set Music & Camping Festival accessible to all guests?

Summer Set Music Festival is a fully accessible event, and we are dedicated to continually improving our efforts to ensure you have access to all the festival amenities. What can I bring into the campground/venue?

Check out our prohibited items list to avoid any surprises when you show up.

Will there be ATM’s at the festival?

Yes, there will be ATM’s located throughout the festival grounds.

Is there a limit on how big my campsite can be or how many people/tents per campsite?

This depends on whether you have purchased General Camping, VIP Regular Camping, RV, or Preferred Camping. Check out our Camping page for more info.

Will there be showers?

Showers are included in VIP and Preferred RV packages, shower stations will be available for an additional fee in both North and South Campgrounds.

Where can I access water?

There will be drinking fountains and fill stations available throughout the festival grounds.

What if we are camping, but bringing two cars?

Purchase an overnight parking pass, which will allow you to keep the second car at festival parking throughout the duration of the festival.

Where is the nearest airport?

MSP – Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport

Where is the nearest store/supermarket?

The town of Somerset has a number of options for needed items. There are also several general store locations on site for a number of general items.

If I’m coming from out of town, but don’t want to camp, are there other options for lodging?

Will tickets sell out?

Maybe. Buy in advance, guaranteed to dance.

Can I attend an afterparty without attending the main festival?

No, all attendees for the afterparties require a festival ticket AND afterparty ticket. A VIP wristband INCLUDES access to the afterparty.

Are pets allowed in the campsites?

No pets allowed.

Can I bring water bottles into the festival?

You can bring one empty plastic bottle (for water fill-up) or an empty Camelback or similar brand. For your convenience, there are ample drinking stations within the festival grounds.

What time do the gates open for camping?

Gates for early entry camping (South, North, VIP, and Preferred Camping) will be available at 4pm on Thursday, August 10th. General camping entry will begin at 8 AM Friday, August 11th.

Will there be a first aid area, or paramedics on duty?

We will have plenty of paramedics on duty, as well as several first aid stations.

What happens if it rains?

Summer Set Music & Camping Festival is a rain or shine event.

If you’re from the Midwest, you understand this weather. Summer Set will take place, rain or shine. All advertised artists are confirmed to perform, but sometimes the weather does not permit travel. In this instance, acts are subject to change without notice. For the most up to date information while on-site download our app and follow us at @summersetfest on all social platforms.

The safety of our fans is most important to us. In the case of severe weather, announcements will be made over the stage PA’s and event staff will direct you to the nearest exit.

Are pets allowed?

Not unless they are service animals. Persons with disabilities and their service dogs or miniature horses that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for those persons with disabilities are welcome at Summer Set Music Festival, as are those training service animals. Pets are not allowed and will be turned away. Due to large-scale animal service fraud, and for the protection of all festival patrons, service animals must be screened and registered at the Access Center immediately upon entry to the site.   • NO Professional / Non-Personal use radios & walkie-talkies
  • NO Campfires
  • NO Large Sound Systems and/or Amplifiers
  • NO Unauthorized vending or solicitation
  • Each patron is permitted one (1) case of beer (no glass) OR one (1) bottle of alcohol (no glass) upon entry into the campground. Patrons will not be permitted to enter with beer or alcohol after they have exchanged their ticket for a wristband. Don't fear though, we do have a General Store in the campgrounds that sells alcohol.
